Why it is important for your cat to visit the veterinarian on a regular basis!

Cats need veterinary care too!  Many people don’t realize that even their indoor cat should visit the veterinarian on a regular basis for a thorough physical exam (at least once a year – sometimes more frequently for older cats or cats with existing medical conditions).  Cats are masters of disguise and often will not show any outward signs of illness until a disease process is quite advanced.  Early detection can make the difference in managing or even curing many diseases.  Annual examinations (plus or minus vaccinations as needed) are also a good time to discuss important topics such as dental care, diet,  weight management and common conditions such as arthritis – all of which can have a huge impact on your cat’s general wellbeing and quality of life.  Together we can help your feline friends stay happy, healthy and enjoying life!
