So what’s all the buzz about flea/tick/heartworm/intestinal parasite preventives for pets??

  • In our climate, as the temperature rises, so does the risk that your pet may be exposed to parasites such as FLEAS (potentially carrying TAPEWORM), TICKS (potentially carrying diseases like Lyme Disease), mosquitos (potentially carrying HEARTWORM Larva), and INTESTINAL PARASITES (Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms)

  • Parasites can pose a health risk to to pets and on occasion to humans as well
  • Problems caused by exposure to most of these parasites can be easily avoided by giving your pet a ONCE A MONTH PARASITE PREVENTIVE during the warmer months.

  • There are many products available on the market that claim to treat for various parasites such as flea, ticks and intestinal worms. We recommend only using products PRESCRIBED BY YOUR VETERINARIAN

  • We are able to advise you as to which product will best suit your pet’s individual needs.  Some “over the counter products” are either ineffective or are too harsh (especially for cats).  We carry a variety of products that are safe, cost effective and guaranteed by the manufacturer when used properly. We currently recommend using Nexgard or Nexgard Spectra for safe, effective and comprehensive parasite control for dogs 🐶 and Nexgard Combo for cats 🐱
