As many of you know, Sault Ste. Marie Animal Clinic has been hosting a ‘Pet Profile Challenge’ on Facebook – partly to combat quarantine boredom but also to raise money for a registered pet charity. The way it works is any pet owner can tell us what makes their pet so special by filling out a form (see link below) and we will make it into a ‘Pet Profile’ to post and share on Facebook.
For every Pet Profile, Sault Ste. Marie Animal Clinic will donate $2.00 to a pet charity. On May 31st/2020, the owner of the pet whose profile has the most likes on our Facebook Page wins a $50.00 Visa gift card AND they get to CHOOSE WHICH PET CHARITY WILL RECEVE A DONATION 😊 (some options might be Humane Society, TAAG, Northern Critters In Need, OVC Pet Trust and the Farley Foundation – all of which do wonderful and very important work).
We have already surpassed our initial goal of 100 profiles (which means a $200.00 donation to charity) so we have set a new goal of 250 profiles (which could mean a $500.00 donation to charity) 😊
We were very touched and delighted when we heard Nestle’s owner wanted to contribute to the cause! Thank you to George and to everyone who is participating 😊
