At Sault Ste. Marie Animal Clinic, we’re dog people too so we understand the important bond you have with your canine companions. Our lives would be so empty with out them!
Veterinarians, Dr. Gary Palmer and Dr. Robin Lewis-Palmer share their home with Hudson, a goofy two-year-old Portuguese Water Dog who goes to work everyday, goes for walks most days and loves going to camp whenever possible.
Veterinary Technician Tara shares her home with Cricket an eight-year-old Parson Terrier who she trains and competes with in agility classes and competitions. She has also recently started to train Hudson for agility so he often goes for “sleep overs and road trips” with Tara and Cricket.
Receptionist Kelly shares her home with thirteen-year-old Bibic who looks like a miniature Golden Retriever and Bella, a six-year-old Shih Tzu. Bibic and Bella spend a lot of time with kids – either the many foster children Kelly has provided loving care for over the years or more recently, Kelly’s own granddaughter Lily.
Veterinary Assistant Cindy shares her home with four-year-old Lab mix Maple and two-year-old Shepherd mix Scratch. This adventuresome duo loves to go camping with Cindy.
August 2017 update: Well, we are all a year older (people and pets) but for the most part doing well. Sadly, Kelly’s Bibic went missing a few weeks ago and despite an exhaustive effort she still has not been located. Unfortunately, as all dog lovers know, it is devastating to lose a cherished pet….but the joy they bring into each and every day we are privileged to share with them makes it all worth it.
Please give your special pooch a big hug and enjoy #NationalDogDay
