Mia, a young mix, first came to Sault Ste. Marie Animal Clinic 6 wks ago on emergency with a huge (18cm) bite wound from another dog on the back of her neck. She was only 12 wks old and weighed 17 lbs. Mia needed general anesthesia, surgery, drains, many stitches and antibiotics to manage her wound. Today, at 20 wks and 39 lbs, there is no sign of her previous injury and she has grown into a delightful, beautiful young lady 🙂
